Dead Animals Smell!

Today I learned that dogs (any dogs) will roll themselves around on dead animals to mask their own odor. Nasty. But natural. I guess.

i.e. My friend was walking on the beach with her husband and dog; she was relaxing away the long dreaded days of a library pay and refreshed herself with the sprays of Lake Erie. When they got home the smell of udder hell landed on the dog. My friend claims the dog rolled around on fish carcasses when she and her husband weren't looking. Must have been the times she closed her eyes and inhaled the moist breezes and the husband got sticks for the dog to chase... I wonder if tomato juice will help.
